Who we are

We are a family! The people of South Weymouth Church of the Nazarene care deeply about their faith and about each other. We are a family of individuals that have found hope in Jesus, the presence of the Holy Spirit and the love of God. We want our community to know the Grace of God through our worship and actions.

Where we come from

We are a part of a denomination called The Church of the Nazarene. A Protestant Christian church in the Wesleyan-Holiness tradition. Organized in 1908, the Church is now home to more than 2 million members worshiping in over 26,000 local congregations in over 160 world areas. Our local church was organized in 1952 in Quincy as the Granite Church of the Nazarene. Our name was changed when we moved to South Weymouth in 1972.

Where we are headed

We have one mission, rooted in scripture and encouraged in worship: to make Christlike disciples in the nations. Starting in our hearts, this mission is lived out by our service and dedication to one another and to our community.

What this means for you

Whether you are a part of our community or our congregation, you are one of God’s children. Everyone is accepted and loved at our church. No one is perfect, but we serve and love a perfect God. Come check us out, we’re saving a seat for you.
