Discover Our Community's Heartbeat
Gathered, Nurtured, Sent: heartbeat of our fellowship
The South Weymouth Church of the Nazarene comes together for worship at 385 Ralph Talbot Street in Weymouth Sundays at 10am. In our gatherings we are healed, redeemed and nurtured in the way of Christ. Every week we are sent into the world to share the love of God in Christ and bear witness to the new life offered to all in the Kingdom of God. Together, we are Gathered, Nurtured, and Sent.

Welcome to South Weymouth Church of the Nazarene (SWN)
Located along Boston’s South Shore, the South Weymouth Church of the Nazarene is a fellowship of Christian believers with a commitment to fostering spiritual growth by providing a place of belonging where people can develop their identity in Christ, and discover their purpose in the grand mission of God. By faith, SWN, endeavors to grow into a faithful expression of God’s kingdom in our community with specific concern for:
- The needy and marginalized
- Those who are not yet Christian
- Nurturing lifelong disciples of Christ
- Developing new, faithful leaders
Our corporate prayer is simple, “Lord, make us instruments of your grace to the world.”
CHRISTIAN PEOPLE
As members of the Church of the Nazarene, we join with all true believers in proclaiming the Lordship of Jesus Christ and in embracing the historic Trinitarian creedal statements of the Christian faith. We value our Wesleyan-Holiness heritage and believe it to be a way of understanding the faith that is true to Scripture, reason, tradition, and experience.
HOLINESS PEOPLE
God, who is holy, calls us to a life of holiness. We believe that the Holy Spirit seeks to do in us a work of grace, called by various terms including “entire sanctification” and “baptism with the Holy Spirit”-cleansing us from sin, renewing us in the image of God, empowering us to love God with our whole heart, soul, mind, and strength, and our neighbors as ourselves, and producing in us the character of Christ. Holiness in the life of believers is most clearly understood as Christlikeness.
